The first Future Internet Week of 2012 was held in Aalborg, Denmark, on May 7-11, under the Presidency of Denmark in the EU Council. On May 9th, a FI-PPP Call 2 European Information Day was organized, where FINSENY was presented together with the other FI-PPP projects.
Mr Werner Mohr, from Nokia Siemens Networks and project coordinator of the FINSENY project, presented its strategy regarding the questions as to how the Smart Energy landscape and the Future Internet is likely to evolve and how the Future Internet can enable Smart Energy.
In order to give the correct answer to these questions, FINSENY is working on five main scenarios covering the distribution networks, microgrids, smart buildings, electric vehicles and the electronic marketplace for energy.
