FINSENY has participated in the last EU Home Automation 1.2 Gating ZigBee Test Event, Turin, Italy 17-21 September 2012

FINSENY has contributed in this event in the sense that the use cases that we presented in the WP4 (energy management) and WP6 (optimization of energy costs) are based on the features of the Energy@home, whose main parts are based on ZigBee system.

Some use cases from WP4 and WP6 were actually tested the ZigBee Test Event and therefore contributed to the validation of the same. With the same philosophy, we are now collecting real data from Energy@home for the WP8 (experimentation labs), and again these data come from some use cases described in WP4 and WP6.

The event has been very successful in terms of participation, devices and features tested; here it follows a short summary of the event:

For all the new functionalities (PP,AS, AC, AI, MI) at least 3 clients and 3 servers have been identified in order to apply cross-testing among vendors as required by ZigBee testing policies.
